I’m Anja - freelance illustrator and book artist, specialising in book cover design.
Since going freelance in 2019, I’ve designed various fiction and non-fiction book covers.

Besides making books, I enjoy exploring video arts.

In 2021 my design for Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway was selected as part of the Illustrofest exhibition.

My book cover for Tarot was longlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2022

I am a part of the team behind the Berlin based zine Verschenken, as well as a audio-visual duo W/AM.
